Part-Time Bachelor of Engineering Preparatory Courses
Alternative pathway to be considered for future applications
To prepare yourself better for future applications, you may consider taking up our preparatory courses, which aim to strengthen your foundation.
Who is eligible?
It is mandatory for holders with relevant 2.5-year CET part-time diplomas issued from one of the five local polytechnics in Singapore.
Preparatory arrangements
- Preparatory courses to be taken (compulsory):
i) Engineering Mathematics – Calculus
ii) Preparatory Course for Undergraduate Physics - Preparatory Examination for each preparatory course (compulsory for CET diploma holders)
- Specialist Certificate (SC) curriculum: SC in Foundations of XXX* OR SC in Foundations of XXX* 2
*Your choice of study to the part-time degree programme. (Please refer to the list of Specialist Certificates)

Registrations will close on 01 February 2022.
Note:
- Course fees are inclusive of prevailing GST and preparatory examination.
- Examination Fees are non-refundable for applicants who are absent on the examination day.
- Preparatory courses are conducted in e-learning format. You will have unlimited access to Engineering Mathematics – Calculus and Preparatory Course for Undergraduate Physics for a period of 3 months and 6 months respectively.
- An e-results slip will be issued to learner for each of the preparatory examination taken.
- An e-Certificate of Participation will be issued to learner via email upon course completion. - Physical hard-copy textbook will be provided for the Engineering Mathematics - Calculus, and e-book for the Preparatory Course for Undergraduate Physics.
- Should a learner wish to apply for the part-time B. Eng programme, the overall results of the preparatory examination and the specialist certificate will be used as consideration factors for admission into the part-time B. Eng programme. Admission to the part-time B. Eng is done by the respective schools and it is highly competitive.
