Entrepreneurial Marketing in the Digital Era: E-commerce and Social Media (TGS-2020505613)
Course Overview
In the new normal post-COVID-19, consumers will get used to making purchases online and stay social via various social media platforms, although this social space is virtual. Future business opportunities and effective marketing lie in fusing the two significant digital trends: social media and e-commerce, known as Social Commerce.
The pandemic-driven e-commerce boom has helped accelerate the growth of social commerce in the US. According to Insider Intelligence's Social Commerce 2021 report, US retail and social commerce buyers accelerated 25.2% to 80.1 million in 2020 and will grow another 12.9% to 90.4 million in 2021.
In this course, participants will learn effective social media platforms, for example, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, in e-commerce marketing to transform their business with social commerce.
