Federico Fellini Genius of Humanity Exhibition
The Federico Fellini Genius of the Humanity Exhibition - held at the United Nations Building from 19 to 28 February 2019 - revisited one of Fellini's most significant works of the cinema and the history of art on the eve of his 100th birth anniversary through three themes: (1) A World Circus (2) The cinema behind the history and (3) Inside the Maestro's creative process.
The Fellini Digital Wall prototype, a project jointly supported by the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), Institute of Science and Technology for Humanity (NISTH) and Office of Information, Knowledge and Library Services (OIKLS) at Nanyang Technological University held its world premiere during the exhibition. The digital wall aims to explore new approaches of visualisation to extend the discoverabtiliy and accesibility of the archive content of Fellini's creations. It presents a snapshot of the digital archive by randomly selecting 100 artefacts of certain criteria fom the digital archive, visualised in a form of a collage, which can be changed at certain intervals.
