NTU launches Brunei alumni association
The new alumni association in Brunei Darussalam will engage and connect with its alumni community in Singapore and overseas
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is launching the NTU Alumni Association (Brunei) to better engage and connect with its alumni community in Singapore and overseas.
Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs, Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency Mr Lim Hong Huai, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei will launch the new alumni association.
Dr Salbrina Sharbawi, Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Brunei Darussalam leads the new NTU Alumni Association (Brunei). She graduated with a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the National Institute of Education (NIE), NTU Singapore in 2009.
Besides building a cohesive alumni community, the NTU Alumni Association (Brunei) also plans to set up a network of business affiliates, or companies and businesses that will offer special privileges to NTU alumni based in Brunei.
