About Us
Welcome to the webpage of Prof. Changjin Huang's research group in School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) and School of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. We are devoted to identifying the underlying physcial principles that control the mechanical properties and stress state of biological systems at cellular level using physical approaches, engineering tools and computational models. Understanding how the mechanical properties and stress state of biological systems dictate their functions will not only inspire more effective diagnostic and therapeutic applications, but also lead to novel biomimetic systems with advanced functions. Our current research interests include:
