How do I book sports facilities?
Recreational badminton, squash, tennis courts & table
tennis tables can only be used after booking is made using the Online Booking
System. The system is only open to NTU full-time students
(undergraduates/postgraduates/exchange students) and full-time staff.

Other categories of users (including part-time
students) can only book these facilities (with charges) in person at the
Sports & Recreation Centre General Office located at The Wave. For more details, refer to:

Group bookings of facilities (such as fields, swimming pool etc) are available for organized groups
(NTU-registered clubs/schools/halls/societies) only and must be made by the

What are the sports facilities available on campus?
We have a range of indoor, outdoor as well as aquatic facilities. The operating hours vary for different facilities.

Are the sports facilities open to the public?
The university sports facilities (including
gyms and swimming pool) are not open to the public. Only university
staff and students are eligible to use the
facilities.

What are the charges for use of sports facilities?
No entry fee is required for NTU full-time
students and staff who wish to use the badminton, squash, tennis courts and
table tennis tables. The facilities must be booked through the
Online Booking System before use. Entry to the gyms and swimming pool is
also free for these users.
However other categories of users (including
part-time students) would need to purchase the Swimming Pool Membership in
order to use the pool and pay nominal entry fees to use abovementioned sports
facilities. Reservations of facilities for organised

Are there locker services at the Sports & Recreation Centre?
Free self-service lockers are available at the
Wave for day users. Please clear your lockers before office closing hours.
Items kept overnight may be removed during inspection.

What are the charges for use of gyms?
The main gym is at North Hill: 60 Nanyang Crescent, Block 19A Binjai Hall, Level 3 Admission to
North Hill Gym is strictly limited to registered members, with their staff and student card. Staff and students can register their membership online and renew it annually for free. For more details, refer to: https://www.ntu.edu.sg/has/SnR/SportsFacilities/Pages/North-Hill-Gym.aspx There are also gyms at various halls of residence, accessible by respective hall residents. The Weight Training Room at The Wave is specially set up for varsity athletes in NTU, for their strength and conditioning rehabilitation.
