Prior to joining ERI@N in Nov 2015, Liang Mong has spent over 6 years with Schneider Electric Singapore Pte Ltd as Energy Efficiency (EE) Manager/Consultant, responsible for the energy efficiency (EE) solutions and audit offers in local companies. During his time at Schneider, he has provided energy audit services and energy efficiency solutions to commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers and industry plants (pharma and wafer fab plants).

He is a certified energy manager (CEM) and a practitioner (CMVP) in International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocols (IPMVP). He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and PhD in instrumentation and was a faculty staff of School of EEE, NTU from 1984-2009. His current interest is in energy analytics and management system, and smart sensor network.​
