EEE Alumni Awards
EEE Alumni Awards aim to give public recognition to our outstanding EEE graduates in their professional achievements and significant contributions to the community and their alma mater. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), NTU.
There are 3 award categories:
(i) EEE Outstanding Alumni Award
(ii) EEE Young Alumni Excellence Award
(iii) EEE Alumni Service Award

Criteria of the Awards
(i) EEE Outstanding Alumni Award (OAA)
The OAA is to recognise outstanding EEE alumni who have excelled in their professional achievements and/or made significant contributions to the community including their alma mater in a sustained period via:
Alumni who have achieved notable and great success as an entrepreneur and whose endeavours bring honour to the University.
Professional / Scholarly Achievement
Alumni who have attained significant achievement in either professional or research sectors. Professional achievement recognises outstanding achievements of EEE alumni in their professional fields. Scholarly achievement is to give recognition for those who excel in research and innovation, either in university or research institute or industry settings. These contributions are worthy of recognition and have brought honour to the University.
Community Service Achievement
Alumni who have rendered significant service to the community including their alma mater which are worthy of recognition and have brought honour to the University.
(ii) EEE Young Alumni Excellence Award (YAEA)
The YAEA recognises EEE alumni aged 40 and younger (at the close of nomination) who have excelled and being highly recognised in their professional fields which are worthy of recognition and have brought honour to the University.
(iii) EEE Alumni Service Award (ASA)
The ASA recognises EEE alumni whose dedication and volunteer commitments through alumni clubs/associations or in the School and/or University's programmes/activities have significantly enriched the University in a sustained period.
Other Eligibility criteria
- Recipients must have earned at least a degree from the School of EEE, NTU.
- Recipients must have attained notable achievement or made a lasting contribution in his or her professional, philanthropic, or voluntary endeavours.
- The Selection Committee is not obligated to select a recipient from every category in a given year.
