Language Learning at the CML

All CML language courses are classified as Broadening and Deepening Electives (BDE) and carry 3 AUs each. CML classes focus on teaching the four language skills; reading, writing, listening, and speaking. All our language modules are conducted in tutorials with continuous assessment. Students will be assessed during the 12 teaching weeks through spontaneous and pre-rehearsed orals, written assessments, as well as online and classroom activities. Our classes start in Week 2 of every semester. All Levels 1 and 2 offer three classroom hours per week and 12 hours per semester online, while all Levels 3 and above offer four classroom hours per week.
