Admissions & Exemption
Discover the academic qualifications, subject prerequisites, and other criteria required to apply for our programmes
To apply for the Bachelor of Business (BBus) with Honours (Single Major or Double Major) programmes, applicants must meet the academic qualifications relevant to their educational background.
Additional requirements – such as specific subject prerequisites, interviews, or aptitude assessments – may apply.
Meeting the minimum academic and subject requirements does not guarantee admission. Acceptance into the programmes is highly competitive and based on merit.
Course Exemptions
Incoming freshmen with qualifications such as the A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, NUS High School diploma, or Polytechnic diploma are eligible for exemption from relevant Accountancy or Business core courses.
Your eligibility for exemptions will be assessed based on the criteria outlined in Annex A. Course exemption eligibility is based on the programme you have completed prior to joining NTU, not on a course-by-course basis.
After admissions to the BBus programme, incoming freshmen may apply for exemption by writing to NBS Student Administration at [email protected]. Necessary supporting documents must be provided.
