The Nanyang EMBA programme is designed for outstanding senior leaders who have the ambition to build further on their already considerable experience. Our EMBA cohorts reflect a rich variety of professional profiles and industries, with each selected participant capable of contributing to classroom discussions and active participation to enrich peer-to-peer learning.

Admission Requirements

1. Minimum ten years of work experience with at least five years in a leadership capacity*
2. Undergraduate degree*
3. Complete fluency in English, both oral and written
4. TOEFL score > 100 IBT or IELTS score > 6.5, if English was not the medium of instruction used at the undergraduate level​

* Candidates without an undergraduate degree or ten years of work experience but outstanding career accomplishments will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The programme’s tuition fee is S$115,000 before prevailing government taxes. It covers tuition, most teaching materials and meals when classes are in session. Classes could be hybrid, face-to-face or online sessions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fee does not include accommodation or travel-related expenses.

The application fee is S$200. An enrolment fee of S$10,000 is payable upon acceptance of offer and this will be deductible from the full tuition fee. Both the application fee and enrolment are non-refundable.  

​Other Expenses

Flight, accommodation and miscellaneous expenses are not inclusive in the tuition fees. These are regarded as additional costs associated with the programmes. The estimates below are approximate but can differ depending on the individual candidate. 

Residential Segment in USA
Flight, accommodation, and miscellaneous costs are estimated to be around S$12,000-S$15,000.

Residential Segment in China
Flight, accommodation, and miscellaneous costs are estimated to be around S$5,000-S$8,000.

Transformative Leader Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to exceptional leaders who have achieved outstanding career achievements in their respective fields.

NTU Innovation Leader Scholarship

With NTU's steep tradition in technology and innovation, we are committed to nurturing innovative business leaders. This scholarship is offered to senior business leaders who can demonstrate innovativeness in their industries or who are leaders in the technology field.

Healthcare Leader Scholarship

Offered to healthcare professionals including the pharmaceutical sector, this scholarship recognises the contribution of leaders in driving transformation for healthcare.

Diversity Scholarship

As part of our commitment to ensure diversity in the programme, this scholarship is awarded to candidates who come from a minority nationality, industry, or professional background.

Global Citizen Scholarship

With the aim of attracting highly mobile and adaptable leaders who have rich experience in different geographical locations, this scholarship is open to all individuals who have lived and/or worked in two or more countries – the duration in each country to be greater than a year.

ASEAN Development Scholarship

This scholarship is open to nationals of ASEAN member countries (excluding Singapore). As part of NTU’s effort to accelerate economic and social progress in the Member States of ASEAN, successful scholars need to demonstrate strong career progression and be willing to champion the dynamic development of their country and the ASEAN community. Singapore citizens, SPRs, and recipients of other scholarships or bursaries are not eligible to apply.

NTU Alumni Grant

NTU alumni who completed an undergraduate or post-graduate degree programme with NTU will receive a one-time grant of 10% off the tuition fees (before GST). This grant will be applied to offset the tuition fees and no other fees related to the course of study.

SkillsFuture Credit

SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016 and you may claim up to S$1,500 under this programme.

Education loans with some leading banks/institutions that offer optimal lending terms to eligible applicants are available. Please note that NTU is not an agent for these banks/institutions and students must apply for the loans directly with the respective banks/institutions and abide by their terms and conditions​.
