Enhance your communication skills and overcome the fear of public speaking with the NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club. Whether you're aiming to deliver impactful speeches or improve how you convey your ideas in meetings, the Club will support your journey to becoming a confident and effective communicator.

Join the three half-day sessions of fun and experiential learning where you will have the opportunity to learn powerful public speaking techniques from the World Champion of Public Speaking finalist, and distinguished and seasoned Toastmasters.

Learn how to:

  • Structure, organise and prepare your speech
  • Incorporate vocal varieties and body language to enhance your speech
  • Think on your feet and speak off the cuff
  • Receive constructive feedback to improve your speech presentation
You will receive five months of NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club and Toastmasters International Memberships to continue your quest to become a better communicator

Date: Saturdays, 12, 19 and 26 October 2024, 9am to 12noon

Fee: S$180/pax (NTU alumni); S$210/pax (non-NTU alumni). Inclusive of refreshments, training materials and 5 months club membership

Trainers:

  • Johnny Teo (MAE/2003), Distinguished Toastmaster
    Johnny has been a member of NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club for 19 years. He graduated from the Club's first Speechcraft Workshop and is the Club's first Distinguished Toastmaster, which he achieved in just four years. He was the Division B Champion for International Speech in 2008 and Speech Evaluation in 2019.
  • Ng Kin Fong, Distinguished Toastmaster
    Kin is an award-winning speaker, peak performance coach and a high impact trainer in the fields of public speaking, communication and leadership.
  • Mohamad Saddiq, Toastmaster
    Mohamad Saddiq has been a Toastmaster since 2005 and used to be the Division S Director in District 80 during Term 2022-2023.
