National Vertical Marathon by NTU Sports Club

The National Vertical Marathon (NVM) is an annual national sporting event that sees its participants scale the great heights of a skyscraper by racing up flights of stairs.

NVM is the brainchild of NTU Sports Club -- the first-ever stair-climbing spectacle to exist in Singapore’s sports scene since 27 years ago. The sports event suits Singapore, an urban city filled with tall buildings, and provides a hearty physical challenge to all participants.  

This year, participants of all ages will scale 33 floors of the Guoco Tower (150 metres in height) to enjoy a scenic view of the CBD. NVM also boasts the exciting theme of "Snakes & Stairs."
