A picture speaks a thousand words. Likewise, a speaker's body language impresses more on the audience than the spoken words.

Learn the basic techniques of using unspoken cues to drive home your message. Gain insights on using facial expressions, body gestures and positioning to achieve stage presence.

Distinguished Toastmaster Johnny Teo (MAE/2003) will be presenting at the workshop "Speaking Silently". This will take place after the Club President's opening address in the NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club's Meeting. Participants are welcome to attend the entire toastmaster meeting to experience the camaraderie of what it has to offer!

Distinguished Toastmaster Johnny Teo (MAE/2003) has been a member of NTU Alumni Toastmaster Club for 18 years. He graduated from the Club's first Speechcraft Workshop and is the Club's first Distinguished Toastmaster which he achieved in just four years. He was the Division B Champion for International Speech in 2008 and for Speech Evaluation in 2019.
