Every individual is unique and so is how one communicates. Being able to achieve assertiveness and tactfulness in how we communicate, will aid us in handling tricky situations diplomatically.

In this workshop, we will walk you through how to adopt solutions-focused communication strategies to better navigate and thrive in your workplace. Learn how to find resolutions by reconciling goals at the workplace.

This Employability Skills workshop is organised by the University Advancement Office, in partnership with e2i.

Ms Yasmin Abdeen, Educator and Trainer

With more than 25 years of experience and close to 20 years at the senior management level, Yasmin has a track record of positively scaling and improving the lives of people. She has extensive experience with strategic communication and general management responsibilities. With international experience gained in small, medium, and large organisations, she has a proven track record in conducting numerous training courses. An excellent communicator, Yasmin has worked with many government and private organisations internationally. She has trained and worked with professionals across various industries as well as business owners in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.
