Speechcraft Workshop: Master the Art of Public Speaking

This November, join the Speechcraft Workshop organised by NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club for three Saturdays of fun & experiential learning where you will be taught powerful techniques of public speaking by four champion speech coaches to help you become a confident & competent speaker.

Learn how to:

  • Structure and organise your speech
  • Think on your feet and master impromptu speaking
  • Give effective and encouraging evaluation
  • Impress your audience with powerful language techniques
  • Manage fear on stage

Dates: Saturdays 6, 13 and 20 November 2021
Time: 9am to 12noon
Venue: Zoom
Fee: S$40/pax (NTU alumni); S$60/pax (non-NTU alumni)

Trainers:

Kin Ng (Distinguished Toastmaster)
Kin's mission in life is to inspire others to inspire. That's why he's dedicated his life to coaching and training others to bring out the best in them. He has trained executives and leaders from MNCs such as DBS, Merck, Rohde and Schwartz, and AXA.

He also became the District 80 (Singapore) Triple Champion (International Speech, Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contest) in 2020 and District 80 (Singapore) Double Champion (International Speech and Table Topics Contest) in 2021.


Clement Chio (Distinguished Toastmaster)

A certified Neuro-Linguistics Programming Master Practitioner, Clement has trained executives, sales managers, trainers, entrepreneurs and business owners in a myriad of public communication strategies including business showcases, technical seminars, pitching, sales presentations and motivational speaking.

Clement was crowned the Double Champion in both the District 80 (Singapore) Humorous Speech and Speech Evaluation Contests in 2017.


Flex Tio (SCSE/2007)
Flex is a toastmaster with NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club for more than 11 years, with a personal focus on delivering heartfelt and motivating evaluations.

He is also a passionate lecturer with School of Engineering, Nanyang Polytechnic, who trains students from making persuasive marketing pitches to delivering inspiring valedictorian speeches.

Johnny Teo (Distinguished Toastmaster) (MAE/2003)

Johnny Teo has been a member of NTU Alumni Toastmaster Club for 17 years.

He graduated from the Club's first Speechcraft Workshop and is the Club's first Distinguished Toastmaster, which he achieved in just 4 years. He was the Division B Champion for International Speech in 2008 and Speech Evaluation in 2019.
