The NTU GDAP is open to any living artist, 18 years of age or older, from any country. The Local Students category welcomes submissions by students studying full-time or part-time in Singapore only.
Works submitted must be new or have never been previously exhibited.
Submission of works will only be open from 17 December 2018 to 15 February 2019. All entries must be received by 2359 hrs GMT+8 on 15 February 2019.
Only shortlisted finalists and winners will be contacted by email.
Entry to the competition is free. Each participant is only allowed one submission.
There are two categories artists may submit their works under, International Professionals and Local Students.
The International Professionals category welcomes all artists from around the world.
The Local Students category welcomes all students from Singapore, full-time or part-time, as of the submission deadline, 2359 hrs GMT+8 on 15 February 2019. A student studying any subject can qualify.
Artwork must be related to the theme of NTU GDAP 2019: Fourth Industrial Revolution. Artwork can be in any medium, size, format, genre or approach and must engage digital media or processes in
more than 50% of the work.

No signature, stamp or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry.
USE AND OWNERSHIP OF WORK
Entrants warrant to the organisers that they own the work submitted, that the whole copyright in the work is vested in the Artist or, if the copyright belongs to a third party such as an agency, that the Artist has the right to submit the work free from encumbrances or restrictions and that if the work was commissioned for private and domestic purposes, it is submitted with the permission of the person who commissioned it.
Entrants warrant that, if their work is selected for exhibition, they have obtained the appropriate model releases from persons featured in their submitted photographs for all sales, marketing, educational and publicity uses and that no additional releases are required in respect of names, trademarks, designs or works of art depicted in the work.
Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist. Any media used by NTU GDAP shall carry the artist’s credit line. Use may include publication in any NTU GDAP media sponsor publication. All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by NTU GDAP for marketing and promotional purposes including in any media such as exhibitions, print and digital media directly related to the NTU GDAP competition, without further monetary compensation. Such free use shall only be in connection with the NTU GDAP and its promotion. By winning or placing in the competition you are agreeing to be included in the winners’ exhibition and catalogue.
Entries may be disqualified if any of the above criteria are not adhered to. The judges’ decision is final.
Neither the Nanyang Technological University Global Digital Art Prize, Nanyang Technological University, nor their associates, affiliates, or partners assumes any responsibility for works submitted in violation of competition rules, or for those which violate copyright regulations. NTU GDAP will investigate claims of copyright infringement to the best of its ability, and will remove and disqualify works that are clearly demonstrated to violate copyright and/or competition policies. NTU GDAP will act to maintain the integrity of the competition and its affiliated entities, but is not responsible for any damages resulting from works submitted in violation with rules and regulations.
