NTU Museum exhibits at spaces with high foot traffic to make art accessible to everyone. Our Public Art Initiatives have generated many multi-disciplinary collaborations amongst members of the faculty, students and staff in the NTU Community, and external stakeholders such as artists and engineers. Through this platform that gathers multi-disciplinary talents to create art, a unique collection such as, the Renewable Energy and Interactive Art Collection, exemplary of a confluences of art, design, science, engineering and technology in a built environment is developed in NTU, for NTU and by NTU. Such collection does not exist in other art and education institutions in Singapore and Asia. Written concepts and proto-types can now be realised and shared with the rest of the NTU Community. These multi-disciplinary collaborations have also created opportunities for learning beyond the classrooms. Students exchange ideas and learn from others, gain practical skills, internships, work experience, and become better equipped for the workforce.
There are 57 artworks on public display around NTU, including the Novena campus and the NTU Alumni Club House at Marina Square.
