OnePeople.sg is organizing a special Bicentennial edition of one of thier signature programmes, CultureScope, where participants will visit sites of rich history and culture such as the Nagore Dargah Indian Muslim Heritage Centre, the Sri Thendayuthapani Temple, and the Thian Hock Keng Temple on the 17th of August 2019.
CultureScope is a narrative-driven learning journey that enhances participants' understanding of our cultural and religious landscape though different lenses, by having first-hand conversations with community leaders and hosts. A spin-off from Racial Harmony Forum, participants will embark on an experiential learning journey and be provided the opportunity of a safe space to explore the elements of the community that contribute towards building the strength of our social fabric. The experiential learning journey and facilitated discussions will help enhance awareness and deepen our understanding of the cultural aspects and multi-cultural heritage of our community.
Since its official launch in 2017, CultureScope has continued to be a key engagement programme that deepens intercultural understanding amongst tertiary students, educators, and community members.
Admission is free and lunch will be provided. Participants can register via the link below: http://tinyurl.com/bicentennialculturescope
