Academic Accreditation
The Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) and the Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) programmes offered at CCDS have been fully accredited by The Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB), Institute of Engineers, Singapore till 2024 (presently undergoing accreditation review for the next 5 years).
Booming Infocomm Industry
Data on job vacancies in Singapore released by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) on 29 Dec 2023 showed that among professionals, the top jobs in demand as of September 2023 are Software, Web and Multimedia Developers – similar to the situation in 2022.
According to the data set, data scientists are another of the occupations in demand, with the second-highest share of vacancies within the information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

According to the Autonomous Universities Graduate Employment Survey 2023, fresh graduates from the ‘Information & Digital Technologies’ course cluster have the highest median gross monthly salary.
Credit-bearing Internship
All CCDS students must undergo one of the following credit-bearing internships depending on their degree programme requirements.
- 10-week Professional Attachment (PA)
- 20-week Professional Internship (PI)
- 30-week Enhanced Professional Internship (EPI)
The main objective of the credit-bearing internship is to expose the students to the relevant industries, so that they will be ready to join the workforce when they graduate.
