A good study environment is one that can help you to focus better and ensure that you get the most out of your study time.
We are all different and get distracted by different things. If you learn better by listening, try to avoid noisy places (e.g. people chatting, songs, etc.). If you learn better by seeing, ensure that there is nothing in your study environment that will distract you.
Use the following questions to help you evaluate whether the study environment is good for you:
|
1 |
Are there very few things (e.g. TV, computer, etc) that distract me in this environment? |
|
2 |
Are there people (e.g. friends whom I like to talk with, an opposite gender person whom I am interested in, etc.) in this environment that affects my concentration? |
|
3 |
Is the environment quiet enough for me? |
|
4 |
Do I feel comfortable sitting on the chair in this environment? |
|
5 |
Do I feel comfortable with the lighting in this place? |
|
6 |
Do I have all the things I need for study in this place? |
|
7 |
Is the temperature in this place just right for me? |
|
8 |
Can I focus better when I study in this environment? |
