A testament to NTU's devotion to promoting learning beyond the curriculum, The Hive is designed to be a new campus space for students to interact, socialise and network with one another outside of formal classes. For those with a strong community spirit, the ensuing cross-pollination of ideas will be conducive to their ideation of social impact projects.
Home to CO-OP@NTU, The Hive houses various student-managed social enterprises that function as altruistic, multi-purpose spaces. Those who share a common passion for volunteerism and making a difference can swarm these spaces at various times of the day to brainstorm over food and drinks at the CO-OP Cafe.
In addition, there is also a dedicated space for community engagement programmes and activities!
The CoLab4Good Room (located on the ground floor) aims to be the hub for social impact activities.
Students can use this venue to connect with other like-minded students, exchange ideas, recruit volunteers, and raise awareness for their projects.
The Hive can also host exhibitions, screenings, workshops and seminars to support the promotion of community engagement. What a bee-sy space!
