Description: R4 students, Khor Le Yi, Gerald Eng, Daniel Tai and Abilash Subbaraman won the top prize with their entry, Schrodinger's Specs. Inspired by lenticular illusions and harnessing the precision of 3D printers, this 3D printed spectacles create the illusion of wave traversing across at the temples when viewed at different angles. Dynamism is hence created in mundane static objects with accuracy. The elegant slit design allows the focus on the eyebrows of users, enhancing individuals’ facial expressions

The team received their award at the official launch of the SC3DP at the Pro-AM (Progressive in Additive Manufacturing) Conference on 17 May 2016.
