The Research staff will join in a research team under NTU-JTC I3C, working on a joint I3C/SINTEF(Norway) research project for “Cost Effective Advanced Grouting Technology for Water Control during Cavern Excavation”.
His/her specific scope of work may include:
Development of the knowledge on practical guidance of pre-grouting
Potential innovation of grouting techniques
Numerical simulation of rock grouting in jointed rock mass
This is an one year contract, with potential extension for another year
A PhD degree in rock mechanics, or engineering geology, or related fields from a reputable University
Experience in practical rock grouting or numerical simulation (e.g., using UDEC, ANSYS).
