The Institute for Sports Research (ISR) is a Singapore-based international collaboration between the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore and Loughborough University (LU) in the UK, created in July 2011 with the support of Economic Development Board (EDB).
ISR aims to quickly become the leading international Sports R&D center in Asia-Pacific that constantly delivers impactful innovations through cutting-edge research and strong collaboration with stakeholders. The ISR imagines new possibilities offered by science and technology to create sports solutions and inspire the sports market through collaborative and interdisciplinary research support. The ISR has a strong focus on disruptive innovation for product R&D and is conducting research work for key international sports brands. Exciting research areas within the ISR include sporting equipment (racquets, golf club, helmets, Bike frame…), apparels, footwear, and artificial playing surfaces.

The candidate will require to have a PhD in Robotics/Mechatronics/Computer Science Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
