The Rapid-Rich Object SEarch (ROSE) Lab is a joint research initiative between the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Peking University (PKU). It aims to create a platform for fast mobile searches on object databases. The three key thrusts of the ROSE Lab are: (i) large-scale object database collection and analytics, (ii) scalable mobile object search with contextual mobility, and (iii) media cloud platform.
One research fellow position is immediately available at the ROSE Lab.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the research and development of multiple object tracking in multi-camera platform, and work with our industry partner to deliver the solution to real system at the ROSE Lab. This includes:
- Develop novel multiple object tracking algorithm in multi-camera platform.
- Implement the the algorithm in C/C++
- Building deployable visual object tracking and recognition system, including parallelising and optimising the algorithms developed by ROSE Lab researchers.
- Working with industry partners of the ROSE Lab to test and adapt the system to their needs.

Previous Post-doc experience highly preferred
Publication record in top computer vision conference, e.g., CVPR/ECCV/ICCV is necessar
Excellent background in software engineering with Advanced Programming Skills (C/C++).
Experienced in implementing applications for Computer Vision, object tracking.
Familiarity with multi object tracking across cameras would be strongly preferred.
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from varied backgrounds.
