Research Fellow (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology)

Established in 1981, the SCHOOL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and strong tradition in research. To support teaching and cutting-edge research, EEE is host to 11 research centres and more than 50 laboratories, which are well-equipped with modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. With about 200 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,300 are graduate students, it is one of the largest EEE schools in the world.

Our research group is an interdisciplinary group specialized in optofluidic research for water monitoring and biomedical applications. We seek for enthusiastic PhD degree holders with 2 ‐ 4 years of research experience in the following two fields to fill the positions of Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow:

To build up research capability in life science, especially biochemistry, microbiology and cell biology. We would like to recruit one position of Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow specialized in, but not limited to, immunolabelling, surface treatment, immunoassay, ELISA, quantitative bioimaging, confocal and flow cytometry etc. Experience in working with Lab on a Chip and optical system is preferred.


  • A PhD degree in relevant areas
  • 2 - 4 years experience
