Research Fellow
 
Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is recruiting a research fellow for its Lien Public Service Program, which is generously sponsored by the Lien Foundation, a prestigious Singapore philanthropic organization. One of the projects the program is working on is the Lien Chinese Service-Oriented Government Index Project.
 
The research fellow will contribute to the management, analysis, presentation and publication for NCPA’s Lien Chinese Service-Oriented Government Index Project and other related projects.
 
Education Requirements
 
• A PhD degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy or other related fields.
 

Qualifications
 
• Research interests in public service delivery, public sector performance management, program evaluation, and survey methods
• Superior writing skills in both Chinese and English
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Strong analytic skills, both qualitative and quantitative preferred.
• Expertise in using statistical package such STATA (preferred), SPSS and SAS
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and under pressure of deadlines
• Prior experience in managing and participating large-scale social science survey research projects preferred
