RESEARCH POSTDOC POSITIONS

The Institute for Media Innovation (IMI
http://imi.ntu.edu.sg/) at Nanyang Technological University immediately invites applications for Postdoc positions to work in Singapore, in the area of physics based simulation of clothes, virtual try on of clothes, interactive virtual worlds, interactive augmented reality, bahavior models for virtual humans as well as social robots, simulation of medical articulations, group and crowds modeling, and related topics.  Researchers will have an opportunity to work in the area of cutting-edge interactive 3D simulation with top equipment as cave as real-time motion capture in a multidisciplinary team.

Eligibility
The positions required a PhD in computer science or a related area.  Experience in 3D interactive graphics as evidenced by publications and international conference participation is desirable.  Strong capacity and commitment to research is mandatory.

Initial appointment will be for two years with the possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funds.  NTU may engage postdoc to perform some supervisory and teaching duties during the tenure without affecting research deliverables.  No additional remuneration for the secondary duties mentioned herein will be extended.

Salaries are competitive and are determined according to the successful applicants' accomplishments, experience and qualifications.  Singapore has low income tax and a postdoc is likely to pay a variable income tax of a maximum of 15% (see
