About the Appointment
The Nanyang Technological University is seeking an accomplished, visionary and pragmatic scientific leader for the position of the Head of Division in the School. 
 
Reporting to the School’s Chair, the Head will provide vision, leadership and oversight for the strategic, academic, intellectual and administrative affairs of the Division. The appointee must have an outstanding record of academic leadership, research, teaching and management experience in a reputable university or academic institution. We look for an individual with a commitment to raising the reputation of the Division and to enhance its existing research and teaching strengths.


About the School
School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is committed to advancing scientific knowledge through research and education in physical and mathematical sciences. SPMS provides an environment conducive for intellectual pursuits which help to attract and retain the very best global talent: faculty, researchers and students.

Established in 2005, SPMS provides students with excellent preparation for further studies and fulfilling careers, through its innovative and relevant B.Sc. (Hons) programmes in Chemistry & Biological Chemistry, Mathematical Sciences, Mathematics & Economics, Physics & Applied Physics. The School also offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in chemistry, mathematical sciences and physics.
