The School of Biological Sciences of NTU is located in a brand new, 30,000 sq m state-of-the-art building right at the heart of the NTU campus. The School provides an academic programme with strong multi-disciplinary orientation to address the cross-functional capabilities required by the life sciences research. It offers undergraduate training leading to BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences as well as graduate training leading to MSc and PhD.
1. Faculty appointments
The School is also seeking to appoint faculty of all ranks. High-calibre applicants who possess a PhD and preferably with a proven track record in research and teaching at university level are invited to apply for suitable appointments in the following areas:

2. Faculty appointments in TCM
A new and exciting Double Degree course in Biomedical Sciences/Traditional Chinese Medicine is offered since 2005. High-calibre candidates who are keen to contribute to curriculum design and implementation and to teach in this unique course are invited to apply. The appointees should have either demonstrated research accomplishment and be able to contribute to the School’s existing multi-disciplinary research programs or expertise and clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Candidates are expected to have a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and research or clinical expertise in one of the following areas:
Medicinal Chemistry
Pharmacology and mechanism of actions in natural products
Theory and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine
