Tourism & Hospitality Management

Faculty Appointments in the area of Tourism and Hospitality Management

Nanyang Business School has a Tourism and Hospitality Management specialisation as part of its Bachelor of Business degree and enquiries about openings are welcome. Staff should be enthusiastic and committed to teaching and research and there are opportunities for supervising postgraduate students. A doctorate from a reputable university and appropriate record of academic publications are preferred, but recent doctoral graduates will also be considered and industry experience is an advantage. The core tourism and hospitality courses taught are Tourism and Hospitality Management, Economics of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Tourism and Hospitality Facilities Management and Design, Revenue Management for Tourism and Hospitality, Services Operations Management for Tourism and Hospitality, and Services Marketing. Successful candidates are expected to be able to contribute to some of these courses, especially that related to economics. The programme is global in orientation, although an interest in tourism in the Asia Pacific region would be beneficial.

Any informal enquiries should be directed to Associate Professor Joan C. Henderson at ahenderson@ntu.edu.sg
