The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering has an active and vibrant research environment with excellent R&D infrastructure and opportunities for research funding. We have an enrolment of over 2300 undergraduate students, and over 150 faculty members and 100 full-time research staff working in well-equipped state of the art laboratories. Candidates should have a PhD in relevant disciplines. Candidates should also possess effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with sound teaching experience and strong research publication records.
Successful candidates can look forward to a stimulating research environment and interaction with high-calibre students and staff. They are expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, initiate funded research and supervise graduate and undergraduate students’ projects. They are also expected to contribute to the academic/professional activities that complement the industrial development of Singapore.
