Faculty position in Philosophy Group 

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, invites qualified academics with the following specialization to apply for a faculty position as Assistant Professor in Philosophy Group:

Faculty position in Writing and Reasoning

Faculty Position in Division of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies - LMS (Professor Level)

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, invites qualified academics to apply for a faculty position as Professor in the Division of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies.

Applicants specializing in the languages of South Asia and South-East Asia, in particular Sino-Tibetan, Austronesian, and Dravidian languages are welcomed to apply. Expertise in language typology and multilingualism will be an advantage. This position is newly created as part of the School’s strategic initiative to build selected areas of strength into centres of teaching and research excellence. The successful candidate should have an outstanding record of teaching and research, a strong international profile and proven academic leadership.

Faculty Position in Politics and Public Administration Group - PPA (Associate Professor / Full Professor Level)

Expertise in politics, governance and International relations in contemporary Asia will be an advantage.

Faculty Position in Creative Writing

The Division of English at NTU seeks to fill a tenure-track position in Creative Writing at the Assistant Professor level. Fiction, creative non-fiction, play-writing and screen-writing are areas of particular current interest.

The Division of English at NTU is an academic department in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, which offers the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in literary studies. Students can minor in creative writing, and creative writing options are also available at postgraduate level. Faculty Position in Language and Communication

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified academics to apply for a faculty position as Lecturer in Language and Communication.

Candidates who have the following are encouraged to apply:

• Master’s Degree in English (language), Applied Linguistics or Education
• Teaching experience at a tertiary level and excellent teaching feedback
• Experience in coordinating courses, developing curricula, creating multimedia course materials, and managing administrative duties
• Ability to conduct research

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Communication Skills, Writing, and English enrichment courses, and conduct research in language-related areas.
