Established in 1981, the SCHOOL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Tenure-track Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Silicon Technologies

Due to the imminent launch of a new research initiative, two tenure track faculty positions at the assistant and associate professor ranks are open at the Division of Microelectronics. The successful applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field as well as expertise and strong publication record in one or more of the following areas of silicon technologies: advanced silicon front-end processes and devices, silicon-based nano-electronics, thermal management and cooling of IC, on-chip and off-chip interconnects, 3D IC, heterogeneous integration of CMOS IC and MEMS/ optoelectronics/photonics, energy harvesting and storage, advanced sensors. Job responsibilities include: establishing a high quality research programme, effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students. Postdoctoral and/or industrial experience are preferred. The research experience of the successful candidates should preferably complement the existing strengths of the division.
