We are seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the field of Efficient Energy Conversion and Utilization.

Applicants should possess the following:

A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or in relevant discipline, with an outstanding scholarship record and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching;

Strong background in power electronics and power systems;

Preferably have experience in electrical generation and distribution systems for aircrafts/ships;

Ability to contribute towards strategic research focus in efficient energy conversion and utilization;

For Associate Professor appointment, candidates must have established international standing;

For Assistant Professor appointment, fresh Ph.D. graduates would be considered but preferences are given to candidates with postdoctoral experience or relevant working/teaching experience in top research institutes or universities.

2. Strong background in intellectual property rights for integrated circuits and probabilistic nano-CMOS design;
3. Familiar with low-power IC design is an advantage;
4. Ability to contribute towards strategic research focus in low-power system-on-chip design;
5. Postdoctoral experience or 2 - 3 years working/teaching experience in top research institutes or universities.

The Division of Control and Instrumentation, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, has a vacancy for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Systems and Control Engineering, for candidates with the following minimum qualifications:

A Ph.D degree from a reputable university in Systems and Control Engineering or related area(s); a good track record of competitive research experience, in terms of journal publication(s) and research grant(s); and, a good command of the English language and the ability to teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Experiences in applying Systems and Control Engineering to Emerging Areas such as energy systems, biological systems and so on are particularly preferred.
