Video on Demand (VOD) service is provided by the Library to enable NTU academic staff to request for videos in the Library or CED collection to be digitised and stored on the server. We will arrange for copyright clearance and obtain digital licensing rights before putting on the server.
VOD can be accessed on PCs located in the LTs, Library or any networked PC on the campus.
How to Request for this Service?
- Please send your requests to acquisition@ntu.edu.sg
- Only NTU academic staff are allowed to make these requests for teaching purposes on the campus.
How to Access?
- VOD is available on campus only. You cannot view VOD through remote dialling into NTU from home PC via a modem line.
- Windows Media Player (version 6.4 and above) is required.
- Access method: via Title Listing

- In the search box, type in your keyword and vod to narrow down your results.
Example: Singapore and vod
- A list of search results will be displayed.
- Click on 'detail' for the record you are interested in.
- The brief record will display.
- To view the vod, click on the electronic access 'URL' and the digitised title will be launched.
