As audiovisual and multimedia materials are expensive and some catalogues have insufficient information,
NTU academic staff may request for preview materials to confirm whether they are suitable, before recommending for purchase by the Library.
This is on condition that the vendors have them in their stock locally.
Selection from catalogues
When you see a relevant title in a catalogue, you may indicate that you would like to have a preview first. Send the catalogue back to Acquisitions Division, Lee Wee Nam Library, with your indication, and we will arrange with the local vendor for the preview material to be made available in the Media Resource Library for your evaluation (a period of 2 weeks).
Recommendation via StaffLink
You may also send in your recommendations via StaffLink (Resource Request - Library Services). Simply indicate next to the title that you wish to have a preview first. The necessary arrangements will be made for you.
