The Multicast Show Booking service is provided by Media Resource Library to enable NTU academic staff to request for videos in the Library to be streamed through myNTU for their students.
Titles that are streamed via multicasting can be viewed through myNTU at any networked PC on campus.
This service is strictly for teaching purposes within the campus.
How to Request for this Service?
Only NTU academic staff may request for multicasting.
Please complete the online form via myNTU > myLibrary > Resource Bookings > Multicast Show Booking.
If you are booking more than 2 time slots, you may also submit the request by completing the Booking Form (MS Word format). Please save and email the form as an attachment to media@ntu.edu.sg.
An acknowledgement will be sent to the requester within 2 working days.
Please submit your request 2 weeks before your designated show time.
Viewing Multicast Shows
Multicast shows can be viewed using any networked PC on campus.
All PCs in the Media Resource Library and HSS Library are equipped with headphones. Only selected PCs in other libraries have headphones.
Most PCs have audio jacks and you are encouraged to bring your own headphone if you are viewing AV materials from the library PCs.
