1. Remote Access to Library Subscribed Databases
All NTU alumni can access five databases remotely using their alumni email account for a trial period. Library membership is not required for this access. These databases are available during their current subscription periods and continuation of this service is dependent on the Library maintaining an active subscription to each of these five databases.
The Alumni email account can be applied through the Alumni website.

Business Insights
Provides unlimited access to a full library of strategic management reports. Over 100 reports are published each year and each report is based upon unique market research and provides detailed analyses of major markets. While examining the market dynamics and assessing the relative strengths and weaknesses of the key players, users will be provided with forecasts for market size, growth and composition. Markets covered include consumer, energy, financial services, healthcare and technology.
Business Monitor Online
Provides business information on global emerging markets. It covers political risk, finance, macroeconomic performance, outlook and forecast, industry sectors and the business operating environment. This database comprises three service tiers – Country Risk, Industry Analysis and Company Intelligence. Regions covered are: Asia, Europe, the Middle East & Africa and the Americas. Industries covered include autos, chemicals, commercial banking, defence & security, food & drink, freight, transport, information technology, infrastructure, insurance, mining, oil & gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, telecommunications & tourism.
Emerald Management Xtra
It is a collection of more than 75,000 full text articles, 200,000 reviews from management journals, plus case studies, literature reviews, book reviews, conference information, interviews, and profiles. Topics covered include management, hospitality, tourism, marketing, human resource management, accounting, finance, library services and engineering.
MarketLine
Offers a collection of business information on company, industry and country profiles that facilitate a better understanding of the different global markets. It covers public and private companies across every major industry sector and also provides economic and demographic indicators, market data and forecasts, company, industry and country profile reports as well as financial deals, comments and news articles. Industries covered include aerospace and defense, automotive, business and consumer services, chemicals, construction and real estate, consumer packaged goods, energy and utilities, environmental and waste management services, financial services, general business, government and non-profit organisations, industrial goods and machinery, leisure and arts, media, paper and packaging, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, retailing, technology and communications, textiles, transport and logistics and wholesale.
Roubini Global Economics
Offers a collection of research reports, commentaries, summaries and news written or selected by subject experts to deliver timely snapshots and deeper perspectives on macroeconomic and geostrategic issues. External experts are also invited to contribute insights on key economic and political debates. This database contains mainly recent information and events dating from 2007. Current information is added throughout the day. Access to this database is IP authenticated but each user is required to register for his/her own RGE Monitor account. Hence, database access is first authenticated via alumni email account, then by the individual username and password of the RGE Monitor account created.
2. Search Library Catalogue
Alumni can also search our Library Catalogue freely to find resources available at our library.
3. Library Associate Membership: Graduate Membership
Alumni who would like to enjoy more library privileges are encouraged to apply for our Library Graduate Membership. The annual subscription fee is waived for the 1st year upon graduation.
