Fines for overdue loans are calculated from the due date to the day the book is returned. Sundays and public holidays are not included in this calculation.
Borrowing and renewal privileges will be suspended when the accumulated fines reach $10.00. Fines have to be paid to restore borrowing privileges.
Fine notices are sent out at the end of every month. Members will be informed through email (if available) or by post.
Since the due date appears in each book (either a stamped date or a printed receipt provided when item is borrowed), failure to receive notices does not affect the assessment of fines.
Borrowers are responsible for all materials charged under their library accounts.
