Library members can borrow laptop locks from the following libraries
- ADM Library
- Business Library
- Chinese Library
- Lee Wee Nam Library
- HSS Library
How to borrow the locks
The loan of the lock is for four hours only and locks are to be used only within the lending library's premises. Please produce your matriculation card, staff card or library card when you request for a loan.
Each user can borrow only one lock at any one time.
Lock allocation is on a first-come-first-served basis and subject to the policies laid down by the Library.
This service is available during counter opening hours at the various libraries.
How to return the locks
Please return the key 5 minutes before the item is due. Overdue fines will be incurred for late returns ($0.50 per hour or part thereof).
Replacement fees will be charged if you lose the locks.
Borrowers will have to bear responsibility for their valuables.
The Library is not liable if users still lose their laptops despite locking them with the Library's locks.
