Book Pick-up Service for Part-time Students

The book pick-up service is a service provided by the Access Services Division whereby library staff will collect and reserve items with the status "available" for the requester.

This service is for part-time students (undergraduate or graduate) only. Full-time staff who are part-time students are not eligible for this service.

We appeal to all eligible users to act responsibly when they submit their requests. Please collect items within the designated time period for collection.

  • The requested item will be loaned out under the requester's library account on the day of receipt of the request.
  • Users have to collect the item in person from the loan counter.
  • The item should be returned to the Library by the due date.
  • Users can request for 3 items at any one time.
  • We will accept requests only for open shelf books and conference proceedings.

Turnaround Time

  • This service is available from Mondays to Fridays only (excluding Public Holidays).
  • Requests submitted on Saturdays will be processed the next working day.

Request before 9:00am pick up by 5pm on the same working day 
(subject to the availability of the item)
Request after 9:00am pick up by the next working day
(subject to the availability of the item)

How to Request for this Service?

  • Eligible users can request for this service by filling up the pick-up request form (Word format).
  • Please save and email it as an attachment to circulation@ntu.edu.sg
  • Requests submitted via “place hold” links in the Catalogue will not be accepted. You will be informed about the status of your request by email.
