A total of 502 titles were donated, consisting of mostly titles on modern Chinese literature, such as the works of well-known author Ai Qing.
There are a number of works on the history of ancient civilizations, written by Western scholars, along with titles on linguistics teaching and studies.
Classic texts such as Beiqi shu (北齐书), Chen Shu（陈书）were also received.
This donation was received in 1997.
