Open Shelf Books
The bulk of the library collection consists of open shelf books such as textbooks, conference proceedings, technical papers, dissertations and theses from other universities.
Periodicals
The Library subscribes to over 2,000 periodical titles in print format. Some of these periodicals titles are also available in electronic format.
Reference Materials
This consists of materials such as handbooks, dictionaries, abstracts and indexes and annual reports of public and private companies.
Reserves Collection
This collection consists of textbooks, reference texts and articles which are core reading materials related to student coursework. Selected Industrial Attachment Reports are also located in the Reserves Collection in Lee Wee Nam Library.
Borrowing course reserve materials
Course reserve materials may be borrowed for 2 hours at a time. One reserve item can be borrowed at any one time.
Overnight loan service
You can choose to borrow course reserve materials overnight. On weekdays, the overnight loan service starts two hours before the counter closing time (Semester: 7pm; Vacation: 4.30pm). For Saturdays, the overnight loan service starts at 10 am. These reserve items which are borrowed overnight must be returned to the Library by 11am the next working day.
Exam Papers
Examination papers are available via Intranet.
For print copies of examination papers, please check with library staff. Print copies are available only in
