Access
You can search for e-books in the library catalogue
1. Click on Advanced Search
2. Type in "e-book" in a search box and choose the subject field label
3. Type in the search term/s in any of the search boxes with the appropriate field label (i.e. author, title, subject, etc).

4. At the search result screen, click URL at the right bottom of the title displayed. Enter your username, password and domain if prompted.

Chinese e-book
Most of the Chinese e-books are from 2 e-book suppliers. The titles are not catalogued in our Library catalogue but are listed separately in vendor websites.
1. Click on the "Collection" tab on the library homepage
2. Click on "databases"
3. Click on "A" or "S" in the A-Z list to find either Apabi or Superstar respectively
Apabi - Chinese e-books
(a) Access Apabi
(b) Install Apabi reader before reading the content of the title online (need to do it once only)
(c) Browse by Category or search by title, author, publisher, etc
Apabi is an e-book resource platform provided by Founder Group, which was founded in 1986 with investment from Peking University, China. NTU Library has subscribed to 6,413 titles under these categories: international economics, international economic relations, economic of China, Deng Xiaoping's works, Mao Zedong's works, history and criticism of Chinese literature, international relations, diplomacy of China.
Superstar - Chinese e-books
(a) Access Superstar
(b) Install Superstar reader before reading the content of the title (need to do it once only)
(c) Browse by clicking

Superstar is the earliest e-book database in China. It consists of 330,000 Chinese titles published in China. NTU Library has subscribed to 99,565 titles that belong to these sub-libraries: chinese philosophy, literature, language, history and geography.
E-book publishers and e-book providers
The Library is still processing and cataloguing e-books acquired. The titles not catalogued yet can be found in the e-book providers' websites. You can access them in the database list.
MIT CogNet library

(b) Browse books by Title or Author or Topic listing
MIT CogNet is a collection of online publications on the subject area of Cognitive Science, covering the topics of computational intelligence; neuroscience; psychology, cognitive science; philosophy; psychology; linguistics, language; etc.

(c) Browse by Categories on the left panel or Search by Title, ISBN, Full Text, All Fields, etc
SourceOECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) provides an online Library of Statistical Databases and Books published from 1997 onwards. Subjects cover agriculture & food; development; education & skills; emerging economies; employment; energy; enterprise, industry & trade; environment & sustainable development; finance & investment; general economics & future studies; goverance; international development; nuclear energy; science & information technology; social issues & migration; statistics sources & methods; taxation; territorial economy; transition economics; transport.

(a) Access SpringerLink
(b) Browse titles by clicking on "Book Series" link under "Content Type"
(c) Alternatively, you can type in the book series title name in the Find search field box
(d) Title is accessible when a Green coloured box is displayed
SpringerLink provides over 20,000 books with full-text access from 1940 onwards. The subjects cover architecture and design; biomedical and life sciences; business and economics; chemistry and materials science; computer science; earth and environmental science; engineering; humanities, social sciences and law; mathematics and statistics; medicine; physics and astronomy; professional computing and web design.
