The Philosopher’s Index
This is a bibliographic database owned and published by the Philosopher’s Information Center which seeks to include all articles in philosophy journals and selected articles in interdisciplinary journals. The literature coverage dates back to 1940 and includes print and electronic journals, books, anthologies, contributions to anthologies, and book reviews.
Major areas of philosophy covered: aesthetics, axiology, epistemology, ethics, logic, metaphysics, metaphilosophy, philosophical anthropology, philosophy of education, philosophy of history, philosophy of language, philosophy of religion, philosophy of science, political philosophy and social philosophy.
Users can expect informative, author-written abstracts, and extensive indexing which includes proper names along with subject terms.
The Philosopher's Index database is offered online by three database vendors - Ebsco, Ovid, and ProQuest, and can be accessed at the links provided below:

Faculty of 1000 (F1000)
F1000 is a post-publication peer review service that provides rating and commentary of scientific research articles published in the biomedical sciences based on the recommendations of a faculty of 5000 world scientists and clinical researchers. Faculty of 1000 Biology and Faculty of 1000 Medicine were merged in 2009 to form F1000.
