Functions
The Serials & Electronic Resources Division is responsible for the subscription of all serials, journals, monographic series, and digital resources. It also accepts gifts and donations of materials that will enhance our Library's collection.
- Subscription of print and electronic resources
- bibliographic checking and verification
- call for quotations
- create purchase orders and invoice processing
- check-in of periodicals and electronic resources
- claim for missing issues
- arrange for access of online resources
- maintain license agreements
- liaise with vendors, publishers, library coordinators, requestors, etc.
- budget control
