Aim
To coordinate and provide for the Library's technology needs and ensure that the library systems are accessible easily and efficiently by our staff and students to support learning, teaching and research needs.
Functions
The functions of the LTD are :
- Coordinate and manage the library website, its development and enhancements
- Coordinate and manage the library systems, infrastructure and enhancements
- Coordinate and provide for all library hardware and software needs
- Provide technical support for networked and remote access to library digital resources
- Provide technical support to library projects and development of emerging technologies
- Coordinate and manage the institutional repository and enhancements of the system
- Manage and support the VOD and photo repositories and enhancements of the system
