Subject Librarian for Library & Information Science :
- Develop library collection
- Select library materials for procurement or subscription
- Coordinate subject resources
- Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training in subject areas
- Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources
- Act as liaison person for the Division of Information Studies in the School of Communication & Information
Operational Responsibilities :
- Plan & strategise the development of ACRC & the Communication & Information Library
- Oversee & manage the operations of ACRC
- Plan & oversee the development of the communication & information collection

About Myself :
Started as a cataloguing librarian and spent some good years delving into the deep knowledge of classification scheme LCSH and cataloguing rules AARC2.
Enjoyed a few years stint as a reference librarian and teaching undergraduates information seeking skills, followed by another two years heading the Library Promotion Division.
Personal interests include travelling, reading, ceramics pottery and collecting Beatrix Potter stuff.
