Subject Librarian for Information & Computing Systems (SCE):

• Develop library collection
• Select library materials for procurement or subscription
• Coordinate subject resources
• Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training in subject areas
• Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources
• Act as liaison person for Division of Computing Systems and Division of Information Systems in School of Computer Engineering

Operational Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain the federated system system
• Develop and maintain the system for the institutional repository (DRNTU)
• Manage technical aspects of the institutional repository (DRNTU) 
• Troubleshoot access issues and problems

• Digital Libraries
• Semantic Web Technologies
• Data Mining
• Cataloging and Classification .

About Myself :

During my study in NTU for MSc (Info Studies) degree, I took part, as a research assistant, in a research project conducted by Charles Sturt University (Australia) for NLB. I also had the opportunity to intern at NUS to see all the different library operations which encouraged me to pursue a career in librarianship. Right after the completion of that degree, my career in librarianship embarked as I was given an opportunity to work as a librarian in NTU.

Being a bit of a recluse, I spend most of my leisure time at home reading books.
